Why Dinokeng?
Dinokeng is South Africa's closest malaria-free Big 5 reserve to Johannesburg, meaning you get lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard sightings without the extra precautions a malaria-area safari usually needs. That makes it a great option for families, first-time safari-goers, and anyone short on time but not wanting to compromise on the experience.
What to expect on a QuadVentures Dinokeng safari.
Our guided drives are led by experienced, registered guides who know the reserve well. Expect a full day of game viewing, insight into the animals and their behaviour, and a real chance at spotting all of the Big 5 in a single visit.
Who it's perfect for.
Whether you're a Johannesburg local wanting a weekend adventure, a corporate group looking for something different, or an international visitor short on time, a Dinokeng day trip delivers a genuine safari experience close to home.

1. Big 5 Safari Day at Dinokeng
Nothing bonds a team like a shared "wow" moment, spotting a lion or elephant together breaks down office hierarchy fast. A full-day guided safari doubles as a relaxed, low-pressure way for colleagues to talk outside of work mode.
2. Quad Biking at Saddle Creek
For teams that want adrenaline, quad biking through the Magaliesberg gets competitive juices flowing in a good way, plus it's a great equalizer, since job titles don't matter once everyone's on a bike.
3. Zip-Lining Challenges
A bit of shared nerves and encouragement goes a long way. Zip-lining activities naturally build trust and cheering-each-other-on moments that carry back into the office.
4. Heritage & Culture Team Day
For a more reflective option, a heritage-focused outing gives teams a shared story and context, great for company values discussions, CSI-linked days, or simply a change of pace from the usual outdoor adrenaline formats.
5. Custom Hybrid Day
Many of our corporate clients mix a morning safari drive with an afternoon adventure activity, or add a light workshop component. We tailor the day to your team's size, goals, and budget.
